Welcome one and all to my little chunk of the internet. I'm not a "web design Jedi" or a "photoshop ninja", I'm Richard Bennett, a straight up working class Yorkshire lad who ♥'s design, and luckily it turns out I'm not too bad at it.
Curently the lead designer at Fast Web Media, I handle everything that comes through the department, be it web, print, video, UX, rebranding, wireframing etc etc, so I can turn my hand to pretty much anything. Except Flash.
So, I'm in the early stages of being a 30 something and I live in Manchester. I listen to Radio 4 and don't have a television. I'm a pretty good cook and when I was little my dream job was to be a hot water bottle maker. I'm not related to Alan Bennett even though we're both from Leeds.
Let's not beat around the bush, you want to know what I can do, right? How does:
Pixel-perfect responsive web design
Standards + Accessibility compliant email design
Print ready 4 + spot colour artwork
Identity refresh and rebranding
Video post production
Measurable UI + conversion rate optimisation design
Not too bad at coding (I done this site all by myself)
Infographics, UX as standard, cups of tea, client handling, occasional sushi and/or buns
Grab you?
We all know how this design thingy works: the design that gets signed off isn't always the one that ends up going live.
Nevertheless, I am a designer so that's what I'm reppin', so everything here is how they left me to go on their merry journey towards internetification.
If you'd be so kind as to run your mouse over the thumbnail teasers, you get to have a look at the whole thing presented in glorious technicolor, though unfortunately supermarionation is a bit beyond me.
A few more for good measure

I'd like to take this moment to thank Mum, Dad, Jesus, 1140 GRID, CLOUDZOOM and JEROEN SMEETS, without who's love, support and javascript none of this would have been possible.
